i've been enjoying my work-free days lately, and even though i have about a million papers due on monday i've been lounging around, checking out facebook and this blog about young socialites in jakarta (pretty low, i know, but it's all in good fun!).

i realized i am the ultimate procrastinator. the ultimate. they should give me an award for this. i was cooped up inside my apt from mon to wed, and i didn't get anything done. come thursday i was in a panic mode and starting doing stuff. friday morning i had to go to the consulate to extend my passport, doc's appointment, and i was meeting someone at 2 p.m. i started pouring over the articles, readings, etc on the train. and hey, when the adrenaline kicks in, i actually got a shit load of work done (pat on the back...).

going to the consulate is a whole different story, one that i don't feel like sharing right now. anyhoo the point is i guess i need some kind of deadline to actually start/do my work. so come monday, i have (1) a big-ass essay, (2) a paper/research paper, (3) another research paper due and i'm supposed to meet my study group to discuss like 10 articles. i guess sunday nite/monday morning will be crunch time. damn, when will i ever learn not to wait 'til last minute!
