i went to see the sex and the city movie last night, and it was awesome. good story, good laughs, georgous shoes (and clothes... and bags... yum!). makes me want to live in nyc forever with lotsa money and penthouse apartments (yeah right... being a teacher i'll be lucky to live in queens forever). a girl can only dreams...
some exciting news: we finally got an a/c unit hoorayy it's been sooo hot and humid that our spankin' new 8000 btu a/c does not cool the apartment at all. so we bought another one for the bedroom but i think tonight we'll sleep on the couch.
annndd today was the day you could stood up eggs (it was a chinese tradition of some sort, when the position of the sun was closest or something). i tried it and the eggs stood for more than 5 minutes. here's the pic to prove it:
