my story is proof that new yorkers are not snobby. you can still find good people here.
today i found a parking spot (within 15 minutes, a miracle!) and it looked tight. a guy just parked his car right in front of the spot, and he saw me looking at the spot. he was like, yeah you can fit that in. i told him, nuh uh, don't think so. yes! trust me he said.
sooo.. being a new-new-yorker-driver that i am, i got a 10 minute parallel parking lesson. he was so patient and helpful, and he even offered to park my car (embarassing, i know). the spot was tight though, give me a break! i've been doing this for 3 months now, so i can parallel park, but not in tiny-bitsy spots.
this shows you that there are nice people out there in the world. and nice new yorkers.
except that his license says new jersey.
oh well.

wish list
dear fairy godmother,
i have been very good this year, i really have (ask santa, i am on his good list- i'm actually talking to him to be my reference right now, as we speak).
i know i'm asking a lot, but a girl has needs. materialistic needs i know, but hey, we live in a materialistic world (and i'm a material girl... wohooo i'm sooo feelin' madonna right now!)
so please please fulfill my desires for the following:
black riding boots from steve madden (i know i just bought another pair, but i bought slouchy ones, now i need tall ones),
a poncho jacket (to go with the new boots),
a new pair of tall brown ultra uggs (the low green ones are nice, but the tall ones seem nicer),
some new pairs of jeans (to go with the new uggs),
a nice purse from LAMB (the one we saw together in lucky),
a new bomber jacket or a peacoat (to go with the new purse),
and a new wallet (also to go with the new purse).
oh, and world peace.
yours forever in gratitude,

sigh...
after a nice 4-day weekend, it's back to work tomorrow. and i'm nervous cuz no more breaks 'til christmas (double sigh...)
this weekend was nice though. i went to boston, new hampshire, and maine (all three states in 2 days!). thanksgiving was very nice, ate lots and lots (probably gained 5 lbs) and maine is sooo pretty. nice old little towns and super pretty. i think i want to go back next summer and check out cape cod/nantucket.
wedding stuff overload, again. my mummy emailed me, like, 5 times in a span of 48 hours and now i understand why some people take a year off to plan this thing. me, i just want to pay someone to do it all for me. so people, if you have some pocket money, you can donate it to my wedding fund rather than buying those new boots from coach. seriously, not only you will do good for others (aka, me) you will also make your life better (by making a special someone, aka me, happy).
so this christmas season, remember me (me me me!) in your thoughts and gift list. then you will be a better person. promise.

gobble gobble
thanksgiving eve. yayyy... no work for two days!
as much as i rant about my kids, i love them all and i think they're the most hilarious human beings you would ever met. looking back at my older posts, i don't think i can justify myself by calling my kids: the crazy one, the pscyho boy, the adhd kid, ... so i decided to use their initials from now on.
aaannnndd because i loooovvee talking about them so much, i'm creating a crib sheet about my kids. soooo if you have nothing better to do on the day before thanksgiving, feel free to keep reading. i do hope you have much better things to do tonight though. (you can start rubbing your gigantic bird with spices, or butter. you can also start peeling those potatoes and yams. anything.)
mr. a is a boy who would yell out "NO" to you and do it the next minute. he's so grumpy but when you get to him and he smiles his sudden (and oh-so-cute) smile, your heart melts. it just does. he's so cute and smart. he also yells out stuff out of nowhere. for example, "i'm going to go to jail." "i'm smoking crack." while doing his work.
ms. g is our crazy girl. and i mean crazy by definition. no need to explain, read older posts.
mr. k is the newest addition to my ever-growing class. he's a rapper, recording his first album. he thinks he's the bomb, and he actually just bombed in everything. he think he's the leading man, the ladies' man, the men's man, the supestahh! but ooohhh he's so not. he's smart but he makes rude comments and he has f-in ocd.
mr. m is also a new addition (wait, i lied. this one is the newest addition). this kid actually was arrested over the summer for mugging a man with fake g's. he can't read, can't write his name, and he's 14. sad. and hell for my class.
mr. s is a cute and annoying kid. he's the center of mockery for the whole school (which sucks really. he can be annoying sometimes but those other kids are not damn near perfect either!). i like him when he's good, and when he's annoying i just wanna *$^%&* (censored).
ms. t is my girl. she's sooo into fashion (helloooo my new bff!). she's a pretty good kid, just likes to get angry and fight other people (girls and boys- and mind you, she will beat you up good). but i like her, she's a good kid underneath all that anger (deeeppp underneath).
last but not least, mr. v. he's so cute (see, all my kids are cute!) but he's soooo disrespectful, rude, bully, anything. he's obsessed with butts (e.g. "go lick my butt" "you smell like my butt") but he's really really smart. getting him to work is one thing, getting him to sit down in his seat is another.
there, my kingdom and my glory. happy thanksgiving!

1234...
After um, a month-long hiatus, i'm back again on the circuit. let me tell you the past 4 days of my life.
4 days ago, my kids were crazy, as usual. can't remember much, my brain cells are dying.
3 days ago, my kids were, crazy again. we have a new kid, who's super adorable, can't sit still, called all of us f*in ugly (oh please, we know we're beautiful), and so on. first 2 days were great, then he started to test our limits. he ran around the classroom, put a chair above his head, and on and on.
at the same time, a new kid came and he's got o.c.d. (obsessive compulsive disorder, helloo..). you know how we always say, oh gosh, i'm so ocd? this is ocd. i'm ocd about my cds. jokingly. well, this one is not a joke. he spent 10 minutes washing his hands. if he made a mistake on his paper, he raised his hand frantically, "umm miss, can i, uh, please get a new one?" all panicky and shit. crazy. however, he's a rapper (yihaw!). a legit rapper. he's recording an album in l.a. oohhh my kids are famous... this is sooo exciting. my favorite boy is jealous because i don't have the love for him anymore (whatever). at the end of the day, 2 of my kids were suspended.
2 days ago, my crazy girl who's deaf (supposedly), has paranoid, and crazy all around, was acting up a storm. ran around the building. had to be restrained. ran around. refused to do anything. tired day lemme tell ya'.
1 day ago (a.k.a. yesterday), my crazy girl was actually out of control (tried to pull the fire alarm at least 10 times) and at the end of the day, it was so ridic that we had to call the cops (safety issues) and she was handcuffed and taken to the hospital. it was very sad actually, disturbing more like. i never want to see something like that again. and this girl is a tiny thing (who kicked down a wall, like, the whole thing by the way). it was really sad. i think she's traumatized for life. ugh. i couldn't do anything last night.
and today. ahh.. friday. the best day of the week, hands down. the girl didn't come in, all the kids in class actually did work. and i have a new kid in my class (again- one of my kids is switched out). and time for a hugeee glass of martini.
